My Michelle!

It was last minute, but I was so happy to have my best girl, Michelle, in for a brief weekend. She came from Nashville to take part in a 5K walk/run for Rainbows. The organization helps kids dealing with life changing circumstances in their lives such as a deployment or death. We kicked off her visit at Morton in Northbrook and also had the chance to head to Arlington park for an afternoon. Miss you Michelle and see you soon!

Dekadent Diva Launch Party

A huge congrats to Nikki Kaapke and the successful launch of "The Dekadent Diva." She has created a lifestyle brand of sorts which includes a blog, a cook book and clothing line focused on hip entertaining and cupcakes. We were able to be there as she celebrated her hard work. Has she lost her mind?

My sister -in-law Summer took on her first triathlon and so we ventured to Indiana to go cheer her along. We lined up the trucks and kiddos and were so thrilled for her. She did it and looked fabulous doing it if I don't say myself. So good, I felt inspired to contemplate a tri. So there are a few coming around in a couple months that Summer may join me on now that she has this thing down. So proud of her and afterward the kids followed her around like the Goddess she is. Congrats!
