Do the Hustle!

It was time to Hustle Up the Hancock again. It meant climbing 94 floors for the Respiratory Health Association. It always starts out okay. Then, about 20 floor in, I wonder why I did not sign up for the half-climb. well, because I can do it while others cannot, which is why thousands of us climbed to the top a step at a time. We were rewarded with medals, an incredible view of Chicago and knowing we had helped with the research and treatments for those with respiratory issues such as asthma and lung disease.

Congratulations To our New Mrs. Illinois America!

Zara Johnson is our new Mrs. Illinois and she is already a queen. She is a mother, grandmother and breast cancer survivor. Zara emanates sophistication and class. There is a special sparkle to her and a genuine warmth. I know the Aceto's will have a tremendous year with her and her husband, Hank.

Words of Gratitude Are Not Enough.

This weekend was the Mrs. Illinois America pageant and time to welcome a new Mrs. Illinois to the family. There are so many people that have been instrumental over this last year and it is impossible to thank every person. Here is my love letter to each of you in the form of a video. And a couple of pictures from this year's big night.
